Zero Waste Garment

No fabric scraps were left behind during the creation of this look. An entire piece of fabric, that was about 4 yards in length, was used to create the top, skirt, and bag.
Zero Waste

Inspired by this artistic, pastel-colored textile that was found at a Textile Center Garage Sale, Jocelyn wanted to utilize all of this beautiful material in a zero-waste garment. Draping techniques and pleating were used to create this ensemble. The garment includes a cowl neckline, short dolman-like sleeves and a midi pencil skirt. The back of the garment features pleating to create a style line design in the back of the garment. Pictured below is Jocelyn's pattern and the technical measurements of this zero waste ensemble.
